Becky Goins

Becky has always had a deep love for animals, sharing her life with cats and dogs from an early age. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. One pivotal moment in middle school set the course for her passion: she rescued a kitten hiding in a pothole and introduced it to her cat Stella and her litter of kittens. Becky found loving homes for all the kittens except one, Sylvester, who remained part of her family.

In 2015, Becky discovered Street Paws while searching for a puppy to join her family. She adopted a sweet Pressa/German Shepherd mix and became inspired by the organization’s mission. By 2019, Becky began volunteering as the Adoption Coordinator, helping find forever homes for countless animals.

In 2024, Becky’s dedication led to an invitation from Street Paws' founder, Kristi, to join the board. Becky accepted and now proudly serves as the Adoption Director. Combining her lifelong love of animals with her commitment to rescue work, Becky has found her dream role—helping animals find the loving homes they deserve.
